Privacy

Plain language, and deliberately short, because the honest summary is that Deckmate is built to know as little as possible.

Your slides

We do not see them. The Mac application works on plain files on your disk. Slides leave your Mac only when your own agent sends them to your LLM for authoring, on your channel and your terms. With a local model they can stay on your machine the whole way.

The application

Deckmate has no account and no telemetry today. It makes one outbound request: at most once a day it fetches a small file from deckmate.app to learn whether a new version exists. That request carries no identifier and no data about you or your decks. If this ever changes, this page changes first.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store your email address, a confirmation token, and the time and IP of the request, and we email you to confirm. We use it to tell you when Deckmate ships, and not much else. Reply to any mail and we delete you.

Purchases

Payment runs through our merchant of record, who processes your payment details under their own privacy terms; we do not see your card. We keep the license record: your email, the order reference, and the key we issued, for as long as we need to honor the license, resend lost keys, and meet legal bookkeeping duties.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion: hello@deckmate.app. Data controller: RAIVEN, Netherlands. You can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if we disappoint you.

Cookies

deckmate.app sets none. No analytics scripts, no pixels, no third-party embeds.
